This weave by Susan Deliss looks and feels so decadent - it’s got a texture to it so it has real depth. It is also reversable, with the reverse more green if you prefer that look! It is pricier than some fabrics but for a blind or cushions, I think it is perfect. I love it with Edward Bulmers ‘Mason Pink’ paint and Alice Palmer lampshades.

This fabric reminds me of Argentina, hot evenings and horses...and I love it. It is pretty thick so would be perfect for upholstering an armchair, ottoman or hefty downstairs curtains. Pair with soft green walls and antique oak furniture.

If you ever find yourself on Pimlico Road, do pop into Fermoie - it’s so beautiful. They do a range of fabrics in muted tones, including a range in this lovely golden wheat colour. This would work perfectly for curtains but just as well on a smaller scale item like a lamp. Pair with pale green or blue walls.

Everyone loves a good ticking stripe, and Ian Mankin in the King of stripes. I love this shade but it comes in so many! I love armchairs and ottomans upholstered in ticking; so smart. They also look lovely on blinds, paired with a fun trim.

This is a wool mix fabric so just perfect for curtains in older or colder homes, acting like a blanket for the window! It comes in lots of colours, I especially love this Ruby colour for its depth and richness. Pair with lighter putty pink walls and dark green furnishings.

This is a viscose/linen mix so has a lovely rustic look to it. Paired with the block printed inspired pattern, this fabric is perfect for curtains or a sofa. I think it could work in any room of the house but I particularly like the idea of it for a hallway curtain or cosy sitting room, paired with stone coloured walls.
